Hindi The Devil's Tomb

A team of mercenaries under the command of hard-charging war veteran Mack (Gooding Jr.), are contracted by a mysterious CIA operative named Elissa (Cruz) to rescue a scientist (Perlman) working on an archeological discovery deep under the Middle Eastern desert. An elite group of soldiers on a covert mission to retrieve a scientist from an underground lab encounter an ancient evil in the facility.
This movie is a waste of time to watch if you ask me. The acting is awful and the plot is thinner than water.
Before watching it i was told it was a scary movie with a lot of gore and killing as you would expect from horror movie about some soldiers going into a saving mission 900m under the earths surface. The director is given a plot a lot like resident evil, but he throws it away like a pitcher with a baseball. He tries to make it scary by putting in some little girls Japanese style but it just doesn't work.
There's a serious lack of gore in this movie and the only semi-good acting is provided by Cuba Gooding. If anyone disagrees you are welcome to comment on this..
Cuba Gooding Jr.'s recent string of straight to DVD failures have been far cry's to his roles in Jerry McGuire or Shadow Boxer. But I was pleasantly surprised at The Devil's Tomb, and I found myself thinking; "Maybe Cuba hasn't gone all the way under after all."
First, the Story. Second, the Acting. Third, the Action.
The Story- Mack (Gooding Jr.) leads a group of Special Forces guys and gals into a creepy underground facility to find a scientist who has presumably been part of some kind of freaky experiment (This role was played by Ron Perlman, of Hellboy fame). As the film progresses, Mack and his team will discover all sorts of scary things, ranging from a creepy little girl to a creepier Bill Moseley.
The Acting- Cuba is great in this, he played a great sullen character who led his team, who have their own back stories. Besides Cuba and Perlman, the cast also includes Ray Winstone, who appears in an interesting flashback. Bill Moseley is interesting as well, appearing as one of the scientists Mack and his team are sent to recover.
The Action- For first time director Jason Connery, not bad. Sean Connery's son gives us a couple classic gore scenes, where the victim explodes upon being shot. He has also given us a decent set. I never found myself thinking that the characters were in a warehouse somewhere, shooting this film. I was impressed with the effects.
I'd watch The Devil's Tomb again.
