The simplest answer to change a timing belt or chain is remove most of the front of your engine possibly even some of the top of your engine and make you put it all back together with new chain or belt and tensioners along with a new water pump if it's driven by the belt or chain. Follow all service manual

This is for the 2004 Nissan Sentra 1.8 liter engine, not the 2.5 liter engine. Anyone have any experience in replacing the belts on this model? I have the factory service manual, and it only mentions how to inspect it, along with a picture of the assembly: This car has AC, so it'll be the top two, and bottom left,

I am trying to change the belts on a 2004 nissan sentra 1.8L. How do i adjust the tension on the belt to put it on and - Answered by a verified Nissan Mechanic. is they are out of the service manual!
