A freak tsunami traps shoppers at a coastal Australian supermarket inside the building - along with 12-foot Great White Sharks.
This movie is about a group of people who get trapped in a Supermarket after a Tsunami hits the coast of Queensland, Australia. But they soon find out that they have more to worry about than being in a flooded grocery store, there's 12 foot sharks swimming around them, and it's hungry.
OK, not a real fan of present day shark mania movies (Atomic Shark, Ice Shark and so on)but this has something going for it, good acting, good cinematography,good script.
I think of it as a cross platform movie, meaning it's a cross between Stephen King's The Mist and Peter Benchley's Jaws. An interesting angle of horror and tension and of course the antagonist...Mr Shark.
visual effects well above par for a "low budget" movie. the people behind the making of the movie definitely have talent, as do the actors.
If you are stuck for a really good movie, and have watched the cream of them...then sit back and have a good night in with popcorn and enjoy.
The movie is full of illogical events. you will love it if you don't use your mind while watching a movie. A guy hits a shark with a shotgun, OK, But under the shark? was shark just swimming over or taking a stroll when you decided to shoot it with a shotgun? And sharks don't Eat humans! please watch some discovery, filmmakers. One dialogue is very true- They are Curious. yes they are, and they have nothing except their teeth to check a thing. That is the main reason behind Shark attacks. And where's Ryan? he just disappeared from the climax. he was safe and sound in the parking lot but didn't came up along with others.
in the starting they showed some events from each character's past but they were not connected anywhere in the whole film, just useless.
moreover, the graphics are not good. seems like an animation at times.
I'll give 3/10 to this one and won't recommend it to a friend.
