Codename: Kids Next Door follows the escapades of five eager, yet bumbling, ten-year-olds as they join forces against adulthood to fight for the right to enjoy all the fun things in life. These principled kids tackle the really important issues facing their peers, like the right to stay up late or to eat whatever they want. But when taking a stand is just not enough, this crew embarks on top secret missions on behalf of children everywhere, utilizing fantastic homemade technology like flying machines and catapults, to accomplish their goals. Like any good team, the agents in Codename: Kids Next Door each have their own distinct identities, skills and personalities. Numbuh One is Nigel Uno, the British-accented leader of the group. Hoagie P. Gilliam, a mechanical genius and expert pilot, is known as Numbuh Two. Diversionary tactics are the specialty of Kiki Sanban, also known as Numbuh Three. Brash and impulsive Numbuh Four (Wallabee Beatles) is a master of hand to hand combat. And Numbuh Five, alias Abigail "Abby" Lincoln, is the quiet one with the most common sense. Whether it's the possibility of getting shipped off to summer camp, battling the imposition of adult swim time at the local swimming pool, or clashing with adult enemies such as Gramma Stuffum, Knightbrace, Mr. Wink and Mr. Fibb, these kids have their work cut out for them.

The KND series is without a doubt excellent! The stories and sub plot twists are all integrated into a nice package every time. The artwork is clean & sweet also. Unlike other cartoons that are thrown together and just a lot of messy abstract junky scratches with no real storyline either. But Kids Next Door deliver every time! The 2x4 technology totally rocks! And the Rainbow Monkeys rule!
The animation & cinematography flows perfect in KND and the sf/music meshes perfectly to the action at hand. And there is an endless supply of writing creativity! My favorite cartoon since Sailor Moon.

Sorry folks, but this is so awful. It just doesn't have all the magic that made all the other shows so special. For example, we almost literally laughed our heads off when we watched The Simpsons, Friends, Will and Grace, Looney Tunes, Garfield, and Fawlty Towers. Frasier was cute and charming. And I'm telling you, there was nothing like curling up in my great aunt's recliner in the States with a plate of waffles or cinnamon rolls watching the precious divinity of Hamtaro. This has nothing of the sort! Where's the comedy? Where are the adventures? Where's the touching romance? Where's the drama? All it's about is these bullies who, for some or no reason, detest adults, and really want to get rid of them. But if there were no adults in the world, then who would take care of them? Surely they can't take care of themselves? And I understand that Number One is British, Number Four is Australian, and Number Five is African American but how come Number Two and Three still say "Numbuh" when they're American and Japanese? And while we're on the subject of adults what did they ever do the kids? Do these so-called "Kids Next Door" want revenge on abuse? And the reason they're bullies (WARNING! SPOILER ALERT!) is because: Number One won't let them do ANYTHING (And I mean ANYTHING) except head out on pointless "missions" so they can get rid of adults. And this happens in every episode! Number Four is a self centered jerk who has nothing better to do than fight. (I mean he even has a private wrestling ring for crying out loud!) Number Five likes spying on people, Number Two is a dork, and I'm not even going to calculate how many gosh darned stuffed animals Number Three has! Overall, this show is horrible. Keep away from it!
