I have never hunted from a tree stand but today I was given an older loggy bayou climber. The stand is I climb. Anyone have instructions or advice? Get a new safety harness that fits you good and is easy to put on and get a new safety strap to tie around the tree above the climber, that is your safety line.
31 Aug 2007 I have an older Loggy Bayou climbing stand that uses the band with a rubber sleeve on it. I have been to the Loggy Bayou site but they do not sell the replacement band. Does anyone know where I could find one or two? I love the stand and hope to continue using. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I still have it but I'm thinking of selling it. It is still one of the most comfortable and solid stands I've ever used. Tom. From: Pat Lefemine. 18-Jan-11. I owned 2 loggy climbers and a bunch of the cheap seats. I watched my buddy slide all the way down the tree with his loggy climber and never used one again.
I was using a 2 piece climber and shimmying my way up a tree that had very knobby bark and the blades on the stand could not get a good even bite. This was a big mistake that could have I had one of the Loggy Bayou stands that has the band, that goes around the tree. Other words it used a metal band
I could not believe how good of a grip it had on that tree. I even stood on one side of the stand and could not even make it tip to the side at all. Since then I have used them hunting climbing up any kind of tree. It grips that wet smooth bark tree with no issues at all. I bought 6 more Loggy's that I use as
