First of all, for me the intention behind reading a cookbook is to learn how to cook. Land of plenty does NOT teach you that. I've expected that because it is often empathised that Mrs. Dunlop as first westerner made a training as a cook. Good for her. What she does is giving you recipes and the story how she learned them.
