You are my hearts desire♥
You know sometimes in life, sometimes you get thrown in un unexpexted curvball.
That's what happend to me, about four years ago, when i got diagnosed with type 1 diabeties.
It flipped my whole world upside down.
I remember, there at the moment, i had to ask a very honest question. "Am i gonna die?"
My doctor looked back at me, with tears in her own eyes.
And said, No, you're gonna be alright.
So from that moment on, i made a comitment to myself.
That i would never let this slow me down.
When i got diagnosed, i didn't look at myself as a child with a desiese. But a child with a dream.
Now, a coupple of years down the road, i'm sure there are some of you who would say that i'm still a child.
But you know one thing is for sure, is that this child, is NOT slowing down!
So when that moment comes, and you have to make a commitment to press on in the midst of hard times, i want to encourage you with these words tonight.
Don't you Ever, Ever let it slow you down! Because i believe in you!
And i wanna thank you all, for believing in me.
And i know that there are some of you here tonight, who are fighting your own battles, dealing with your own troubles.
If there's one thing i want you to leave here with tonight is these words:
Don't give up hope, and don't stop fighting.
I wan't you to all to know that i love you from the bottom of my heart.
So thank you!
This song is for every broken heart.
For every lost dream.
For every high, and every low.
