Hai, hope is very good most of the time, but ofcorse hope can feel like a villain at times, but the real villain is false hope, and false hope is close to never good.

Perhaps it is merely his ups and downs that makes him that way. Does...does that make me a bastard for breaking it up with him? I know that you know so, but it was just a thought, and as you said I might be right.. but no, it doesn't make you a bastard.
You've tried to help him from the beginning, and you did love him deeply, probably still do to a certain extent.. What you've done is simply saving yourself in the last second before he pulled you down with him. He's been falling for a long time, and you've tried to help him up, but he's been pushing your hand away for a long time. You can't help someone who doesn't accept the help. The small help he has accepted he's very rarely appreciated, and that wears on the mind and the heart.

Hai*nods* I've kept a farely good track of things, and yes, I do think he loved you, maybe still does so, but I don't think he knows how one is supposed to treat ones beloved. He sees the world from his own perspective, and that sadly enough won't cut it in this case. Makes the two of you unable to give the other what it wants and needs.. it's sad but true.

*he nods slightly and lets out a slight sigh* The truth is always appreciated. That is why I always speak the truth as well. "Rather hurt by the truth, than comforted by the lie" that is what they say, and I must say I agree with that. I despise lies.

*nods slow* That's true.. *smiles faint hearint the truth is appreciated and nods hearing he speaks the truth as well, nodding once more very agreeing to the saying* Indeed they do, and I also prefer it that way. I don't like lies either, and they have their way of revealing themselves and catching up to you, so it's better to tell the truth.
