You will love it. These people are are descended from the worst criminals of the British Empire, who were so disgusting that they had to be shipped to the opposite side of the planet, who then proceeded to inbreed and deteriorate generically for another two centauries. Not everyone who grows old grows up. However once you get to the country towns you will only find the worst that the human species has to offer. Fencing, martial arts, sport, painting, whatever. I also like my social activity network because it is informal, personal, non-judgmental, tolerant, empowering, open minded and all inclusive. I gave up trying to make friends here really. If you don't want to battle the Queen Vic Market, South Melbourne is a better alternative. I have established a very wide network of great friends and contacts. I want to make lots of friends and know i can since i'm very likable but knowing a few things would be helpfull : Thanks. I'm not trying to say all australians will welcome you with open arms i just wouldn't want anyone to think that all australian's are cruel and have no intesert in others. If you speak Spanish, French or any other foreign language, find a group of people who are learning it. On top of this, if you don't share the the popular interests it becomes even more challenging. Don't want to leave my email address here but I'm more than happy to help. I just got more accepting of the Aussie Way. I know it has to do with me and believe me i'm very social and outgoing. Being Asian is not a problem. Since i'm not going to school at first ,social places would be helpful!. places to make friends in melbourne I can say I have not met any at night clubs but a few friendships have been strengthened after a quiet after work drink turned into a 7am stumble ouy of a night club. Guys here are much much better but it still feel they keep you abit far. I really don't like it here. There are alot of friendly Aussies who are educated socially and interested in other cultures. I moved from a small country town away from absolutely everyone, and when I began work I made friends through that. If they're are opposed, just show 'em the sweet, flaky pastry photos.Even if we are white Australian, we've had enough new blood over the last 2 centuries to make our features fine and our bodies strong. Why is it so hard to make Australian friends? I'm 21, female, and yeah since moving to melbourne more then half a year ago I managed to befriend people who I work with and thats it. So first you have to meet people. Then come back to get inspired again.
