8 May 2017 The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) takes precautions to ensure prohibited items and excessive amounts liquids, aerosols, and gels are kept out of airports and off of planes.
Children. TSA does not require children under 18 to provide identification when traveling with a companion within the United States. Contact the airline for questions regarding specific ID requirements for travelers under 18.
Liquids Rule. You are allowed to bring a quart-sized bag of liquids, aerosols, gels, creams and pastes in your carry-on bag and through the checkpoint. These are limited to travel-sized containers that are 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) or less per item.
Current TSA & Airline Regulations. Air travelers may now carry 3.4oz liquids, gels and aerosols in their carry-on bag when going through security checkpoints.
