The country of Skyrim is locked in a bloody civil war between the Imperial army serving the Empire of Tamriel, and the Nordic rebel army of Stormcloaks named after their leader Ulfric Stormcloak. A midst this war, the gods have awaken the eldest dragon Alduin who has the ability to raise deceased dragons and devour living and dead souls. But there is one who can bring peace, this individual who has the ability to absorb the souls of a dead dragon and use to learn their tongue. They call that person; Dragonborn.
After escaping execution, the last living Dragonborn must grow in strength and power to defeat the dragons that have once again begun to plague the land of Skyrim.
And I'm not talking about the quests, but the atmosphere, the feeling it gives, the sheer joy of being there. Skyrim takes what is great from both Morrowind and Oblivion, improving on it tremendously, becoming in itself a huge epic. Nevermind the bugs, the glitches. It is simply breathtaking. I must admit, I am what one would call a hardcore fan of the series, and very pretentious about my fantasies... This is a game in which the hero is a Hero in everything he does. As a player, you will never stop fulfilling prophecies. It is rewarding every step of the way, like no game before it. I have been playing Skyrim since November, finished it in December. Fan or not... I ask you... Why can't I stop (July the following year)? I have my own supposition. Maybe it's because this game never ceases to amaze me. It never ends. Just like the world.
So finally after almost 5 years of playing this game I finally decided to post what I think about it... Well I played it for 5 years, that must sum it up already..
From the first moments being thrown into creating your character, until the last moments of fulfilling the character's destiny, you are up for an amazing experience. And the best part is that after 200 hours of playing you receive absolutely NO REPEAT experiences during gameplay! The game is huge and vast and enormous and whatever other words you want to use to describe the map that is beautifully designed.. Throughout I received no lag on the open-world loading and screen updating. The voices are so much more than in the Oblivion game. You can relate to the characters (especially of you have all the DLC's) and you can just roam the entire skyrim and enjoy every moment of it..
Fair warning, if you have a social life, do NOT acquire Skyrim.. You WILL become obsessed and you WILL write off your social life..
This truly is the best game ever. Enjoy it!
