Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter for hire, embarks on an epic journey to find his former apprentice, Ciri, before The Wild Hunt can capture her and bring about the destruction of the world.
The witcher Geralt of Rivia in the search for his fellow lover the sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg learns that his former witcher apprentice Cirilla who disappeared years ago has returned to Temeria and is being chased by The Wild Hunt, a group of riders of the night which pressence brings omen of death and destruction to anything that crosses their path. Geralt then sets on a quest to find Cirilla before The Wild Hunt gets to her first.
Trust me when i say this but the Witcher 3 is one of the best games you will ever play. Every part of it is amazing, from the story to the world everything is great. It has amazing characters and plot development. The story is one of the best in games and when you finish it you will understand why I say this game is one of the best in all time. There is a bit in the middle where you have to find a character that takes a bit long and is overall very boring. this part of the game is the only part of the game that i can say is bad, anything else that is bad is so miner that its not worth talking about.
Cons- a part in the middle is a bit dragged out and boring.
Pros- everything else .
On 19th May 2015, the third installment of "The Witcher" series was launched. I downloaded the same on 20th May 2015 and started playing. I have also completed "The Witcher 2 Assassin's of Kings" as well so keeping in mind the past experience I really enjoyed playing the new game. Geralt of Rivia, also known as white wolf along with Triss and Yen was a beautiful story line with scenic picturesque, excellent melody and intense fight scenes and I loved the game very much. It took me 8 days 6 hours 4 minutes 27 seconds to complete the game in all. So a total of 198 hours game play which is a lot to reach level 34. I have completed 220 quests out of which 14 quests were partly failed and one quest which was completed earlier was a failed quest after that specific quest was complete it was Cave of Dreams. Seven quests of Gwent game and five quests of horse races were not completed by me so in total there were 232 all quest including main, side and treasure hunts. I have downloaded the games original soundtrack and the music is fantastic. I love the game very much.
Yes, the game allows to play after the epilogue to deal with the secondary quests which have yet to be completed. However, the general state of the world will be the one before the last chapter of the game (i.e. you won't get to deal with the post-epilogue consequences of your choices while playing). Ciri is the daughter of Emhyr var Emreis, emperor of Nilfgaard, and of Pavetta, heiress to the throne of Cintra. She was raised by Geralt as an adoptive daughter of sort and trained in Kaer Morhen (although she was never submitted to the full witcher mutations). Yennefer also helped raising her, and so did Triss, Vesemir, Eskel and Lambert. All this is narrated in detail in Sapkowski's book saga. The game features three different playable epilogues, each one corresponding to a different outcome for Ciri, who candie, become empress or pursue the witcher path. There are also different outcomes for Geralt, who cansettle down with Yennefer or Triss, live alone as a witcher or even die (implied), and various endings to political plots (for example who becomes king of Skellige). a5c7b9f00b
