The single player is modeled after the Normandy breakout, where the British, Canadian, Polish, US, and French forces pushed into the village of Chambois, France. Unlike most other games in the Call of Duty series, the events in Call of Duty 3 are based on a single combined campaign, with the player being switched between the four nations and their respective characters for each leg of the story.
This is the best FPS game I have ever played. It has great graphics and excellent gameplay. The cutscenes are top notch but the accents were a bit too much. The bad thing is that the levels were too short. I think it was a level where you were playing as the British, that level took me 10 mins to complete. And the whole game only took me 6 hours too complete, I don't know about you, but that is really quick as top quality games like Prince of Persia or MEdal Of Honour usually takes me around 10 or 20 hours too complete. The controls for the level where you had to row the boat could've been made easier as it was virtually impossible to do. And they took out the air missions which were a bit disappointing, but all in all, it is a great game.
(sorta spoilers, rumours about COD4) Wow, this game is really cool. The sounds, visuals, the game play in general. Im really addicted to it! especially on xbox live!!! Im trying my best at fighting the war on veteran difficulty and its really hard, its not better than Gears Of War but this game is defintately my favourite xbox 360 game!!! My favourite character is Huxley, i just think he's really cool, i think medal of honour airbourne might do well but not as good as this, and that Hour of victory looks very good but again i just don't think it will reach call of duty's league. I've read about COD 4 and that its supposed to be set in the Iraq war, so this could be a change in the, what i think is the best ongoing game series going.
