Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! The Sharknado goes to Washington D.C. and sharks falling from the sky. It's up to Fin and April to stop the Sharknado the third time.When I heard about the first "Sharknado" I thought, "Not really. That's got to be awful." It was...but in a fascinating, hilariously black comedy way. Now, 3 films later...I'm still watching, and still thinking the same thing.
The title says it all. Eliminating the previous ones, this has to be the most ridiculous, absurd, improbable, and funny film currently making the rounds. It doesn't mess around with explanations or prefaces but immediately plunges into a rain of sharks being dropped on the White House just as Fin is receiving the "highest civilian award" from the president (as well as a golden chainsaw), and proceeds from there to destroy the entire Eastern Seaboard, ending in Universal City in Orlando, not exactly a nice thing to do to one of its distributors, but...fun, anyway.

Sharks in tornadoes aside, most of what happens is no doubt improbable if not impossible, but who cares? Set aside your disbelief and revel in watching celebrities (playing themselves) get chomped.OK, the third one is here. Since I missed the airing and don't steal content I waited the month until it came on Blu Ray here in Austria. Right when the movie starts you notice it looking more like a high-def vacation video than a film. Also you immediately notice that the celebrities stood in line to get in this movie. Not even in a "real movie" have you ever seen so many cameos. Ever. The first 2/3rds of this movie progress quite nicely. Nice effects shots. Nice gore. We get some more insight in Fins family life, which is nice. We encounter some familiar faces and then the whole east-coast is in danger and the course of action that they decide on, which involves Fins Dad who's identity I won't spoil for those select few that don't know, is simply ludicrous. When they go through with it, they suddenly encounter sharks in an environment much more hazardous to aquatic life than the land. Still, the movie is fun and Ian Ziering really does his all to save this script. It still is a lot of fun, so, if you can fetch the Blu Ray for 10 bucks then I say go with it.After diverting a sharknado over Washington, D.C., Medal of Freedom and Order of the Golden Chainsaw recipient Finley "Fin" Shepard (Ian Ziering) heads for Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida to join his pregnant wife April (Tara Reid), their teenage daughter Claudia (Ryan Newman), and April's mother May Wexler (Bo Derek). Along the way, he also runs into sharknado survivor turned warrior Nova Clarke (Cassandra Scerbo). Meanwhile, more sharknadoes are developing, and the sharknado hunters fear that the individual storms may converge into a massive sharknado wall and destroy the entire eastern seaboard. Sharknado 3 is the third movie in the made-for-television disaster film series Sharknado, all of which have been based on screenplays by American screenwriter/director Thunder Levin. It is preceded by Sharknado (2013) (2013) and Sharknado 2: The Second One (2014) (2014), and followed by Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens (2016) (2016), and Sharknado 5: Global Swarming (2017) (2017). Nova clears a hole in the sharknado wall, allowing Fin, April, and Colonel Gil (David Hasselhoff) to successfully launch the Independence space shuttle, but they run into another problem when the rocket doesn't break up the storm wall. Gil decides to try using the Strategic Defense System (SDI) satellite, but it requires that he leave the shuttle in order to manually reboot the SDI laser. Consequently, the sharknado wall collapses, but the sharks are propelled into space and begin attacking the Independence. Fin and April are separately eaten by large sharks just before the shuttle explodes into bits, sending all the sharks back to earth where they start to rain upon the beaches. Fin crawls out of one shark's belly while April uses a chainsaw to slice her way, along with her newborn son, out of the other shark. When asked what he's going to name his son, Fin looks up into space and announces that he's going to be name him "Gil", after his father. Meanwhile, Gil has landed on the moon. In the final scene, April bends over to pick up the wings given to them by the Colonel...just as a large fragment of the space shuttle hurtles out of the sky, headed directly for April.
