There are few fights (but they're important), and they can easily be modified to suit your and your setting's needs. Works well both as a one-off adventure or as the culmination of a mini-campaign against "Sir Grandier". Note that the fights are few, but meant to be hard: don't exceed the suggested maximum character level.

that would allow a mixed group of mostly new players to ease into the game before introducing the home-made adventure that's still being worked on? The group I'm with played through the Re: Premade adventures (3.5). if you really want to BREAK them into D&D might i sugest the tomb of horrors?
