In Acrobat 9.5, "printing" to a PDF is done using the "PDF" >> "Save as Adobe PDF" dialog, not through a printer driver. Trying to print any 8.5x11 pdf @ 100% size to an 11x17 sheet so that I can show bleeds, crops, etc. The printer selects the proper paper/size, but the final output/image is cropped to 8.5x11 (not scaled). It's not a page size/selection issue. This happens when trying to output to both of my printers - HP
17 Oct 2008 Yes, but I have to take it to Kinko's to print, because I don't have an 11x17 printer. What I used to do on my PC was print it to an 11x17 file, then take it over there on a USB key. I thought I had done this with my Mac as well, but now that I think about it, I've never tried to print to an 11x17 PDF on the Mac. share.

21 Mar 2016 Add and use the Save As Adobe PDF command. If you are using Acrobat 9 Pro, update to Acrobat 9.1 Pro. The Updater removes the Adobe PDF Printer from the Printer list and adds the Save As Adobe PDF command to the PDF menu. In the PDF menu, choose Save As Adobe PDF, and follow the onscreen instructions.
Acrobat X does not install a print driver on the Mac to the best of my knowledge. Acrobat Stopped installing the PDF printer driver at version 9 on the Mac due to how Apple built in the PDF saving. I believe your first link is referring to a Windows system since the Mac OS has PDF saving built into the OS print
Ok this is driving me nuts and i really need some help. Our office is mainly PCs. I'm on a mac, and so is one other person. We can both print to the printer when it's 8.5x11. Everything is perfect. Does double sided printing and everything. PROBLEM IS: Printing 11x17. She can do it on her mac.
