Here is yet another film with no real ending. I can't stand when films do this. It felt like they ran out of money and time and just decided to pull the plug. The Good Son is much better. Even the crappy straight to video movie "Mikey" had more resolution in the end. It's tragic because the film was pretty solid with great performances and an intriguing story but with no resolution, I can't say I liked it because it wasn't finished. It ended with the 2nd act. Where was the third? It's one thing to leave some open ends and unanswered questions, but you need to have the audience on bored and expecting the film to end when it does. Otherwise it's just unfinished, unresolved, and frustrating. It makes everything you've gone through essentially pointless.
