Their connection to the serpent of Set is infamous, and one said to be more than just metaphor, as is manifest in some of their more disturbing powers. But as creatures of the nether darkness, even strong artificial light unsettles them, and the purifying, piercing sun can tear their slithering bodies asunder in moments.
