The true story of an English boxer incarcerated in one of Thailand's most notorious prisons as he fights in Muay Thai tournaments to earn his freedom.
Another waste of two hours. It seems to be very hard to make a decent movie these days. Incoherent, no plot AT ALL, a complete lack of context, flat characters, boring and endless 'fighting' scenes, uncountable plot holes, dialogue is unrealistic. The acting is okay, but the main character is as one-dimentional (just like in Peaky Blinders) as can be.
A sports movie and a true story so I was hoping to really like this movie but I didn´t enjoy it.
It’s not a reinvention of the genre, but it is a fairly engrossing variation on a theme. And that’s in large part due to the violence — sexual and otherwise — it recreates.
