Still confused on this one, the parts guy at the GMC, Buick, and Ex Pontiac Dealer told me that the Getrag 5speed in the cobalts/g5s use Gear Oil for.

Mar 18, 2010 I find it crazy that cars no longer have a dip-stick. My lil sister hit a curb and I had to change her transmission pan. Does anyone know how many quarts of Dex VI to use? Every time I look up to buy transmission fluid it gives me 5-spd getrag or 5-spd mu3 which apparently take different fluids. 2005–2007 Chevrolet Cobalt The 5-speed manual is also different from the Cobalt SS Supercharged, it is the Getrag F23 transmission with different ratios that is offered for the 2.2 L
