13 Dec 2009 I responded to a local CL ad for a Linde VI-400 with wire feeder. This turned I ended up trading a 4x6 bandsaw, 7 inch Porter Cable hand grinder, and $400 for the welder. 6 Oct 2008 mid to late 70's linde VI-400's that get used daily I have 4 of them. I also have a couple of mid 80's union carbide VI-400 that are just white faced linde's. Can't complain though Forney didn't charge me a dime for the insulating nut either time, nor did they charge for user manual and owner manual.
