After an attempted assassination on Ambassador Han, Inspector Lee and Detective Carter are back in action as they head to Paris to protect a French woman with knowledge of the Triads' secret leaders. Lee also holds secret meetings with a United Nations authority, but his personal struggles with a Chinese criminal mastermind named Kenji, which reveals that it's Lee's long-lost...brother. But their race will take them across the city, from the depths of the Paris underground to the breathtaking heights of the Eiffel Tower, as they fight to outrun the world's most deadly criminals and save the day.

Six years after Rush Hour 2 comes this sequel which further chronicles the misadventures of mismatched cops Inspector Carter (Chris Tucker) and Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan). Now they headed to Paris, where the largest triad is said to live there.
The story is still enjoyable, even though in my opinion Rush Hour 2 is the best of the three Rush Hour movies.
I gotta say that Rush Hour 3 is a tamer version of the Rush Hour movies, with less action and more comedic dialogs. I don't know whether it is because of the aging Jackie Chan or it is because the producer decided to make a more family-acceptable movie (one that has less violence and more frightening stunts).
Jackie Chan's acting seemed to be restrained, which made audiences somewhat disappointed because they want to see more out of the actor. If it is because of his age, then I gotta give him credit for trying to do his best acting, making stunts (even though less than what he usually does in movies) which belies his age.
While credit to Jackie Chan for his movie, I am rather annoyed with Chris Tucker's acting. He did well as a stand-up comedian, but even then, most stand-up comedian didn't make a good transition into acting in movies. In Rush Hour 3, he screamed louder, made cultural jokes (which rather sounded rude at times), and making absent-minded remarks. In this movie, he was 90% of the time, making Jackie Chan's part lesser (and which made audiences disappointed).
All in all, I think this movie is enjoyable, and would certainly tickle the audiences' funny bones. But I think this sequel should be the last of Rush Hour. Not that I'm saying this movie is destined to failure should there be Rush Hour 4, but I'm saying that the plot of kidnapping and then going on a search to find the crook has been used times and times again, and it will make it boring.
i love both actors there the best . they both play great together, it is a fun movie the best movie of the year ! i love all 3 movies each one is fun to see i never get bored with these actors . i hope they do rush hour 4. the story was interesting from beginning to end the cast was very mixed . l am a big fan of jackie chan movies there the best .and chris tucker is crazy funny i love his work there both great actors.it was cool they used Paris for the new movie is such a beautiful city . the picture quality was beautiful all around i really recommend this movie the story is great the actors are the best .me and my kids had the best time . I usually don't pay to go see a movie , but this movie i didn't mind at all . ts worth every penny you will get a good laugh when it comes to DVD i will rent it.
Ratner, who has been accurately dubbed a "fauxteur," does an OK job keeping the action swirling, especially in the finale atop the Eiffel Tower.
Because of the film's box-office success, director Brett Ratner and writer Jeff Nathanson are currently considering the production of a fourth installment. In the DVD audio commentary for Rush Hour 3, Brett Ratner jokes that the fourth Rush Hour film could be released in either 2010 or 2012. Ratner and Nathanson are exploring many concepts, including the use of the motion capture technique for the possible sequel and various different film projects with Chan and Tucker.
