When watching regular SD channels, it is fine. The issue only occurs on HD shows. I've changed the settings provided by my TV (I have an 55" LG, not sure of the model #) multiple times to no avail. We've got our cable box hooked up via HDMI to a new Vizio E series smart TV. No matter what settings we adjust, the picture is slightly cut off on the left and the right sides. We've adjusted the pict.

It seems you still have some type of zoom option enabled, possibly forcing the 4:3 aspect ratio, which will make HD pictures small.
