7 Apr 2009 He lowered the rear with the stock lowering springs. He is thinking I see that Progressive has a new Drop-In fork kit. Has anyone . The instructions said that the spacer should be 5" for a stock FXD, but that length gave me too much drop so I put a 1/4" back in which gave a little over an inch. This works

19 Jun 2013 Here's the info from the Progressive Suspension installation instructions regarding lowering: Fork Lowereing Kit from Progressive. The installation of a fork lowering kit does not affect the compressed length of the fork. However, we have found that some motorcycles may not have adequate clearance
