I just sold a friend a Minkota All Terrain 65 lb 12/24 volt trolling motor that came on a boat that I bought. This motor Not true for a motorguide, don't know about the MinnKota. If you do a search, this came up once before and I scanned the owner's guide wiring diagram and posted it here in the OG forum.

16 Jan 2008 Motorguide 12/24. If I have a Motorguide 12/24 volt motor running on 12 volts. Will it run faster on 24 volts? While small and medium trolling motors use a single 12v marine battery, larger trolling motors use larger 24v and 36v systems, and require 2 or 3 marine batteries, accordingly. These larger motors and multiple batteries are wired in a series pattern, and optimally, the circuit breaker should be wired within 4" of your battery.

25 Jan 2017 Hey John, I'm looking for some wiring diagrams for my older Motorguide trolling motor. It came on my used boat when I bought it. It has no lables on it so I don't know what model it is. It looks like maybe 2005-2010. It has the tear drop shaped head and the foot pedal is 5 speed with a 12v/off/24v switch on
