21 Oct 2015 I purchased a 200AMP ARC welding machine from eBay, model BX1-200C1 for about $100. It is a simple, heavy and “analog" machine – no fancy LED indicators or digit display, all it has inside its steel case are sets of beefy coils, which, I believe, is to transform AC to low voltage DC for ARC welding.
Is the ARKSEN AC welder BX1-250c1 good for small sheetmetal jobs running on 110v? Has anyone had any problems with this product? If yes, please list/describe. Thank you. I was thinking of using one to weld 20-22 gauge sheetmetal for rust restoration on a vehicle, but I have no generator, so I planned on plugging into

26 Sep 2014 Info: The machine is an ARKSEN BX1-250C1 250AMP Arc Welding Machine (Box has 009-WE-90236 in the corner). Box states it is 70-250 amp, but the case says 90-250 amp. It can run on 110V or 220V, I am running it on 110v with a 20amp breaker. Using 1/8 rods and adding my poor welding skills, the
