WinPCD now has a more response UI when the polar plot calculations are being made. Previously, when the polar plot window was selected the whole application froze during the calculation period. This took several minutes to complete on my old PC and somewhat old laptop that has an I7 cpu. Making the UI responsive
30 Jul 2014 I'm announcing the public release of XSim, a "free-form" Windows-based passive crossover design and simulation program intended to be as.
Join Date: Jan 2009. OK David, WinPCD loaded without a hitch. I've already watched your YouTube tutorials, many thanks for that. And the direct link passinwind posted also got WinISD going, have the stock parameters loaded to play with, I'll run the actual parameters and load them in the next few days.

I currently use WinPCD + UniBox, and quite like it, but am working towards using BoxSim. BoxSim has a steeper learning curve (and finding tutorials is harder since all the official documentation is in German) but is all-in-one and is quite powerful (and looks much slicker than most of the other free software).
I've been working on a few changes to WinPCD since the last time I posted. The WinPCD forum (link at the WinPCD section of my site) is the best place for questions. I`d like to try this tool but no version so far displayed the curves despite properly reading the data files and following the tutorial vid.
