8 Jan 2015 Don't use the Drake Sword. Makes early game too easy and then you get to mid-game and have no decent weapon. Longsword/ Shortsword are both good. Claymore is available fairly early but getting it is dangerous. Every standard weapon in Dark Souls is good. The only one that has an actual upgrade is
