Had to go back a few pages, but a simple search would have saved you the hassle of this post :rolleyes: I don't see why you couldn't use that paste. Just make sure it's still in good
Actually, Arctic silver 5 has been known to not work well on gpu chips. I personally had good luck with the mx-4 paste on a 680 (basically half of the 690) but i have seen almost anyone using mx-5 for gpu applications have trouble with it. I am not sure if it is due to the viscosity but it doesnt seem to give great

Sep 5, 2009 I'm planning on using a GTX 275 or GTX 285 with the Swiftech MCW60-R2 GPU Waterblock and the Swiftech GTX200 Full-Cover Heatsink. Another question, is The guide on Arctic Silver doesn't have any support for GPUs. . AS5=Arctic Silver 5; Silver="Metal;" Metal="Conductive;" Conductive="Dead" GPU.
