This card is an example of how awesome priest is. While other classes usually just buff their stuff and destroy the opponent's , priest has such unique and funny ways to deal with the enemy. Priest may not be the most competitive class right now but for me , cards like Shadow Madness make him the most fun to play :D.

Just combine Shadow Madness with a Youthful Brewmaster at 6 mana on a juicy looking target and put it back on your hand. Boom it now belongs to you.

Not sure if this has come up before or not, but I just did it in the arena and it made my opponent concede. I used Shadow Madness to steal a Shieldmasta, then used a Youthful Brewmaster to send my opponent's Shieldmasta to my hand (since he's a "friendly" minion"). Awesome mechanic combo!
