As almost each year we spend our ski holidays in this region, we've visited Malga Panna few times already. While previous dinners were amazing and absolutely worth a Michelin star, this year's unexpectedly was not. We took a Specialite tasting menu and it proved to be dull, with almost same ingredients in each course.
Paolo Donei, born in 1973, is the patron chef and trustworthy helmsman of the RMP in Moena, one of the most interesting, renowned and established gastronomic locations in Trentino, thanks also to its Michelin Star.

We turned up without a booking but as we were only 2 they fitted us in. All the staff were attentive and friendly without being stuffy. Yes it is expensive but at lunchtime there are cheaper plates. We did a mix and match and had all courses and lots to drink and it was €150. BUT it is exciting food worthy of a Michelin star.
