i'm in the market for a new amp, and i've heard a lot of good things about polytone amps, but i don't really know much about them, so i have a couple of questions: where/how can i try/buy a polytone? what's the difference between all the amps, like mega-brute, mini- brute 1-5? is the mega brute better than the mini brute? I talked to a guy from a music store that sells Polytones and he said pretty much any 2 button footswitch should work... Aside from the bad reviews of it not holding up and the idea the cord is hard wired into the footswitch itself, there is nothing making me feel good about blowing $20 on something like that.
