I recently installed Windows 7 and have my PC hardwired to an Xbox 360 to use it as an extender. The Xbox is still working fine, except when I try to use the Media Center. Then the Xbox slows WAY down. When I move from highlighting one movie to another or going from one menu item to another within the Media Center of the Xbox 360 it takes 3 seconds or more.... Only slow downs I have are from setting up a new Xbox360 extender and re-indexing my libraries (including cover thumbnail generation). 3 different Xbox 360's from a launch unit, to an Elite, to one of the new slim's. I've tried changing the settings on the NIC so it's 100 meg Full Duplex, 100 Meg Half Duplex, and even tried turning on Flow control. No changes at all. I've opened every port related to Media Center (There are around 30 all. I am running a media server that has MB3 installed.
