My question is after I tightened the lock nut to 50ft/lbs as listed in the instructions the prop seems tight but when I grab the stainless steel collar around the nut I can easily spin it with my hand and it seems to wiggle a bit too. Is this normal? As I saw it when it was disassembled the nut seemed like it pressed
6 Apr 2010 Anybody using a McGard prop lock? for my Verado and really don't want to see it grow feet and walk away (even though I do carry a spare) I just want confirmation about the installation instructions that call for tossing away the tab washer that prevents your prop nut from coming loose while underway.
