All other thumbnails for other file types seem OK. I've tried installing another reader - PDF-XChange Viewer. This does create PDF thumbnails in windows explorer but you can only see them when you first open a folder. On a second visit to the same folder the PDF thumbnails turn completely black.

I'm using PDF-Xchange Viewer Pro and I'm not seeing my pdf files as thumbnails in Windows Explorer. I've only just found this out as I've downloaded some fifty images as pdf files and I can't see 'em.
