22 Jun 2004 So when I play the some games (Diablo, Diablo II, Diablo II - LoD, Comand and Conquer Genrals, exc.) the screen is split. I know that it?s the resolution because when I set my desktop resolution to 800 x 600 and blow it does the same thing. It also did it in Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory but I changed that in
9 Jul 2010 Since Diablo 2 is a sprite based game there is no way to increase the resolution, however, you can increase the drawing size of the screen (ie. be able to see The only fix I found was on the good old Widescreen Gaming Forum (www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19227).
When i'm playing d2, it runs at its maximum res -800x600, but its as if its keeping my screen in the full resolution and only using a block of 800x600 in th. i found a fix to res problem with no mode. now go to ur d2 short cut then right click and got to properties, the in the target line make sure it says this in that spot.
If that doesn't work, try going into start ---> programs ---> Diablo II folder and changing something in the video settings there. 28 Sep 2013 Most games should have a resolution option built into them. Some games have the ability to do custom resolution from their settings files. If there is not one, you can use external programs, such as ShiftWindow to try to force another custom resolution. (See width and height in the screenshot below).
User Info: darkleox. darkleox 5 years ago#2. there is a folder my documents named Diablo 3 inside there is this file called D3Prefs.txt inside de file change these lines for the resolution you want DisplayModeUIOptWidth "1360" DisplayModeUIOptHeight "768" DisplayModeWidth "1360" DisplayModeHeight "768"
It really changes the Diablo II experience, even though it doesn't increase the resolution (which would be a cheat after all). And it works great with high resolution monitors if you use some of the advanced settings - I can help you if you can't figure it out yourself. After I found it, the D2 experience changed
