I'm having trouble finding any info on the Hornady GMX bullets. What I have been able to find are references to using the SST data for load work-up. There doesn't appear to be any, easily available info on OAL. Everything I've been able to find refers to monolithic bullets in general and the consensus is to. Hornady's Steve Johnson explained that one important goal when designing the bullet was that the load data for all its other bullets of the same caliber and weight must also work with the GMX bullets. Johnson assured me that any data developed for handloading Hornady's other bullets are fine to use with. Hodgdon Powder Company provides reloading data that covers most bullets available today.. For example, should you have a Hornady GMX solid core hunting bullet, but our data for that weight bullet only shows a Speer lead core bullet and a Barnes all copper TSX bullet, use the data for the Barnes.
