The 3DS version of Dragon Quest VIII has made changes to many of Jessica's costumes, with it being thought that this is due to the regulations of the Japanese rating system getting stricter since the PS2 release. In Japan it has been given a CERO A rating, the lowest rating possible. The affected outfits are:
