He escapes and goes to Earth to get the man who placed him there, MIB agent K. He confronts K, K and J corner him but he disappears. J asks K who he is but K doesn't want to say anything. J goes to MIB and learns who Boris is but before he could learn more the one in charge, O, stops him. The next day J goes to pick up K but finds someone else living at his apartment. When he goes to MIB, he looks for K but everyone there tells him, K died in 1969 after tackling with Boris. But J says K captured him. That's when alien vessels which are from Boris' planet show up and they're about to devour the Earth. But J says that K placed a barrier that keeps them from entering Earth in 1969 which would lead to their extinction. It's obvious that Boris went back in time and killed K before he could deploy the barrier. So J goes to see an alien on Earth whose father was also at the penal colony, whom J assumes told Boris that he worked on time travel and his son has the device. J goes to see him and tells him about the invasion. So he sends J back just before K's death. J arrives in 1969 and fails to stop Boris and is captured by the younger K who asks him who he is and what is he doing here. J was told not to tell him anything. But with time running out J tells him but K doesn't believe him at first, so they go out to stop Boris. Only problem J doesn't exactly know what happened so he's not sure where they should go.Criminal Boris the Animal escapes from LunarMax, a moon-based maximum security prison. He comes to Earth seeking revenge on Agent K, who shot off his arm and arrested him forty years ago and protected Earth from a Boglodyte invasion. Boris is defeated again and he travels back in time to 1969 to kill Agent K. When Agent J notes that the time line has changed in the present day and Agent O tells him that K died in 1969, he decides to travel to 15 July 1969 to save K on the following day. Agent J has difficulties to convince the Young Agent K with lies, but when he decides to tell the truth, K believes in his words and they seek out Boris together. They are helped by the amicable alien Griiffin that has precognitive powers and gives the ArcNet to K to protect Earth from the Boglodyte invasion. Further, J learns a secret about K and himself.I've previously only seen parts of the original Men in Black and don't remember too much of Men in Black II. So it was that I went to watch the latest one with my movie theatre-working friend with not too much expectations. As a result, I thought it was mostly funny if not hilarious the whole way through. Still, it was pretty entertaining especially when Will Smith went back to 1969 to meet Tommy Lee Jones' character as a young man, here played by Josh Brolin in an uncanny impersonation (though both me and my friend also noticed a bit of George W. Bush there). There was also a fine villain portrayed by Jermaine Clement and a reasonably compellingly amusing future-seeing sidekick enacted by Michael Stuhlbarg. I also thought Emma Thompson's part as the new superior was also quite chuckle worthy. Really, all I'll say now is Men in Black 3 is well worth a look.The review really tries to drive home the suspense for the secrets and well they should! This is the best movie in the trilogy. It might be a little wordier then the other two, but everyone in my office at DISH agrees that it was necessary. This is the movie that ties up all the loose ends left in its predecessors. And to top it off it was hilarious enough to leave the wife, kids, and even myself laughing all Friday night. When we were using the Redbox, which only has a handful of movies, it was always a challenge to find something for the entire family. But now that we have over 100,000 different selections through Blockbuster @Home from DISH, I have not seen one person disappointed face on a movie night in months.You do sense, though, that the people behind MIB3 (mainly veteran producer Walter F. Parkes and script doctor David Koepp) were smart enough to let the audience grow up a bit, enough to get the Andy Warhol jokes and one brilliantly weird creation, a delicate alien who can see every outcome at once.Agent J possessed the time travel device, whereas Boris did not. Agent J asks this very question. Jeffrey Price explains that if he is the only one who remembers it is because he was actually there. He likely is but it is well established that K shows little to no facial emotion. Rip Torn isn't in the movie, because he was arrested after breaking into a closed Litchfield Bancorp branch office in Lakeville, Connecticut, where Torn maintains a residence. He was charged with carrying a firearm without a permit, carrying a firearm while intoxicated, first-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespassing and third-degree criminal mischief. The Connecticut State Police said that Torn broke into the bank thinking it was his home. On December 14th, 2010, Torn pleaded guilty to a litany of charges: reckless endangerment, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and the illegal carrying of a firearm and was given a two-and-a-half-year suspended jail sentence and three years probation. Untitled Men in Black Spin-Off (2019) has been announced, but no release date has been set. Apparently, the British station "Channel 4" broadcasted the Chinese version in which several scenes at the Chinese restaurant were already cut for its theatrical release because of the assumption that the image of China could be corrupted.
