CMYK(0, 0, 0, 100) "should" put down black with 100% coverage, but not any of the other colors that would make it a rich black (darker and with a little color). So if a rich black is what you want, you will probably have to specify it that way. I'll have to defer to an InDesign user for particulars on that application,
