Hey thanks so much for this great tutorial. I am attempting to run the binflow tutorial and it keeps giving me an error that I don't know how to fix. The output from the command liggghts -echo both < in.bin. # Particle insertion fix pts all particletemplate/sphere 1 atom_type 1 density constant 1000 radius constant
In this tutorial, we will step through a few input decks to describe the commands and fixes to run each simulation. This tutorial is not intended to cover all possible situations and commands, but rather, to try to describe some common elements in a LIGGGHTS simulation and to provide a starting point for users to develop their
11 Apr 2014 Prerequisite C++ Knowledge. It is generally recommended to start with some C++ tutorials before digging into LIGGGHTS source code. This [page] (www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/) provides a nice set of tutorials and references.

11 Feb 2016 LIGGGHTS stands for LAMMPS improved for general granular and granular heat transfer simulations. There are similarities compiling LAMMPS and LIGGGHTS since both applications are related. Do take a look at Compiling LAMMPS-7Dec2015 with OpenMPI and GNU FFTW, OpenMPI and GNU
LIGGGHTS® tutorials. This is an excellent LIGGGHTS® tutorial, written by Chris Stoltz (P&G): www.cfdem.com/forums/liggghts-tutorial. Important note: This tutorial does not reflect the syntax changes from LIGGGHTS 2.X to LIGGGHTS 3.X. Please refer to doc/liggghts_3.X_tutorial.html in your local installation directory

17 May 2012 As promised in my last blog entry, having talked a little about why I am interested in simulating granular material (i.e. materials made up of distinct particles), I want to talk a little now about some of the tools I'm using. Of course all are free and open source – so you can download them and give it a try
LIGGGHTS by Carles Bosch Padros. The granular material simulations improve the understanding of granular flows, common actions that are becoming more popular every day in the research and industrial world. The eruption of the Discrete Element method and all kinds of particle simulation software is playing a crucial
