A tog rating is a measure of the duvet's ability to trap warm air. The higher the rating, the warmer the duvet will be. Choosing the right tog is important because if you're too hot or too cold in bed, you won't get a good night's sleep. Use the chart below as a guide.
The weight, softness and warmth of a duvet depends on its tog rating and filling, and tog ratings are based on a duvet's ability to trap warm air. The higher the tog rating, the warmer the duvet, with 2.5 – 7 tog perfect for spring and summer and 10.5 – 13.5 ideal for autumn and winter.

Depending on your own personal preference, the duvet you choose should be above all comfortable, cosy and something you look forward to coming home to at night! From the warmth if the duvet to the filling, our guide will help
This guide will help you to choose the best to suit your bedding needs. LABEL TERMS EXPLAINED TC = threadcount (generally, the higher the threadcount, the better quality linen it is) TOG = thermal resistance (the higher the tog value the better suited the duvet for colder nights. Low tog values are best for summer nights).
