This put's the Squahed Bug that was in Hot Rod a few years ago to shame. Although that one is closer to functional, and converted to RHD. Also, it's not a real split window, so don't freak out. See the weld line above the door? You have to cut a giant X in the roof, and add in metal to keep the curve right.

Jul 12, 2007 Anybody here ever chop a VW bug? I had a guy come over and ask Any tips or pointers before I commit to the deed? I know for sure, I DONT Find another bug with a good roof, as your going to need it for extra filler when ya 1/4 it(which I think needs to be done to look right)..VW's may be the toughest
