This program was my final resort in an exhaustive search, but sadly it stamped a huge red watermark on every page of the output PDF unless I bought it. After an investigation into the sorry state of PDF editors, I decided to edit the program itself. Luckily the author made a typo in the watermark ("Vitalsource"
Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can help with converting vital source .vbk files to any other type, I tried to run a few codes that would unlock it I've only been able to print 10 pages at a time to pdf and then combine afterwards - the annoying thing is the text becomes images so you are unable to search.
I bought a physical copy of the Schweser L1 books, and had them throw in the e-books as well for free. Been on pace to study 2 hours a day, though
I've been doing some research on it the past month or two, it is basically a proprietary container for books sold from vitalsource. They get a regular pdf, epub, xml book, or images and wrap them with their DRM and sell on their store. You can download them to your computer, but it is stored as a .vbk file.
Now my question is did you access the books in some indirect way so you had the option to save the whole books as PDF all at once? What did you have to open to be able to print the books? Can you give me a step by step rundown (e.g. I first opened VitalSource-->then I selected a book--->then I went
readme.md. Extractor.epub for VitalSource Bookshelf. This EPUB file allows you to convert books in VitalBook EPUBBook format into regular EPUB books. By sideloading Extractor.epub, the content of other EPUBBooks loaded in Bookshelf can be packaged into a regular EPUB file which you can then use on other ebook
So, anyone who has had to deal with VitalSource knows that all their effort has gone into DRM and zero effort has actually gone into making their ereaders the slightest bit useful. After much frustration I decided to find a way to get a PDF of the file. I made a python script that will retrieve the images and then
6 Dec 2017 I was able to convert a vitalsource book to pdf about a month ago, but it was a really shitty way of doing it and the resulting PDF was huge. I used Cheat Engine to allow me to print more than ten pages. Basically I did a search for the starting print page, the end print page, and the amount of pages printed.
Does anyone know how to convert the .vbk textbooks into pdf so I don't have to use this steaming pile of garbage reader for uni textbooks? Thanks.
Are there any ways that work anymore? DeDRM on Calibre hasn't worked for me.
