Frequency modulation highlights. Frequency modulation is used in a wide variety or radio communications applications from broadcasting to two way radio communications links as well as mobile radio communications. It possesses many advantages over amplitude modulation and this is the reason for its widespread use.
In telecommunications and signal processing, frequency modulation (FM) is the encoding of information in a carrier wave by varying the instantaneous frequency of the wave. In analog frequency modulation, such as FM radio broadcasting of an audio signal representing voice or music, the instantaneous frequency
What is Frequency Modulation, FM. Frequency modulation, FM, is used in many applications from broadcasting to communications and offers several advantages over other modes. Frequency Modulation Tutorial Includes: Frequency modulation, FM Modulation index & deviation ratio FM sidebands, bandwidth FM

Great tutorial. I'm trying to understand more with this tutorial. Can you explain a little further how you got equation 14 (Maybe, I need to find out where Ref. 1 is) and I don't see how you substituted those equations into equation 13 to get equation 15. Also, I'm having a hard time understanding how you got modulation index of

Frequency modulation is a form of analog angle modulation in which the baseband information- carrying signal, typically called the message or information signal m(t), varies the frequency of a carrier wave. Audio signals transmitted by FM radio communications are the most common.
