25 Feb 2014 I have been using this camera a lot and its annoying in that I go to focus, on a bird for example and sometimes it works and other times I can't focus at all. I move the zoom in and try and then back out and try. I change from Multi focus to Flexible spot- which seems to help..then I'll get the photo, I'll try another

Manual Focus. You can use the manual ring to set the focus manually. Set the Zoom/Focus switch to MF. Turn the manual ring. A: Focus on the background. B: Focus on the foreground.
