Ok so i got all the way through the trenches easily but when i hit the brood mother BAM cant kill the thing, ive tried around 6 times so far and im just getting plain frustrated, im afraid i might lose sleep on the subject. My strategy is have every part member go for the brood mother, have morrigan flame and blast it from afar

3 Nov 2009 Did anyone else find the Broodmother extremely difficult? Haven't seen her mentioned at all, but in my opinion she was the toughest fight in the entir.
The Broodmother is a dangerous opponent, despite her immobility. This page may offer some tips
If one of your mages has cone of cold, this fight is sooo much easier. Basically you find an angle that the cone of cold can attack most of the tentacles and the brood mother herself to freeze since she rarely resist. Onces she's frozen, attack her with all you have.(melee and your tempest) Once she is unfrozen use winters

As I stated, I just pulled out my melee weapons and beat up the darkspawn while Morrigan just cast spells at Broodmother. She fell pretty fast Its kind of easy you know just strike broodmother with u have got! and use tactics on ur comrades like if his/her health is lower than 50% drink health potion smthing like that It was
18 Apr 2012 Guide to "Paragon of Her Kind - The Dead Trenches" in Dragon Age: Origins We'll need to help the Legion of the Dead push forward and then make our way to the Broodmother if we want to finally reach the Anvil of the Void and save Branka. . When you get to the end, you get to fight a Broodmother.

That abandoned house was really tough for me (Went back later with a different crew) and the Broodmother battle took me three tries, with switching up of tactics. Then of course the 'optional' boss battles.
