I discovered Dalhberg Divers fishing for Largemouth Bass several years ago. The version presented here is a very simple one, but feel free to add as much as you'd like to the tail. I also tie it with the same tail as the Razzle Dazzle, and many other variations, but I thought this one would be better for brevity of instructions.
The Hair Diver is my first attempt at a photographic hair fly tutorial. I can say that this has been the most difficult pattern I have tried to demonstrate photographically as both the pattern itself is complicated and the photos are more challenging because of the larger fly size. I am often asked to tie hair flies for tying demos.

Tying instructions: Cut a piece of foam as shown. Tie in tail on top of hook. Dub a small part of the shank above the hook point, reaching a third shank length. Tie in the foam on top of shank, small triangle pointing to the rear and curving slightly around the hook shank.
