I'm having trouble creating PDF security that DOES NOT allow copying of text. It seems I follow the security steps yet still am able to copy/paste.
One can select as much text as they want, but pressing command+C to copy to the clipboard is intercepted with a drop down sheet requesting a password. Similarly, any attempt to print is also circumvented until a correct password is supplied. These security intercepts persist in Preview after unlocking the PDF.
I am currently writing a long report by PDF and to avoid peopel copying my work in near future, I would like to know how a function or setting of how What executable e-book security program did you select, and how did you create the PDF for Mac users? Is the PDF as secure as the .exe e-book?
