PaintShed was included with Ultimate Trainz Collection, Trainz 2004 Deluxe and Trainz Railroad Simulator 2006, and was available as a separate program for adding onto Trainz Railroad Simulator 2004 and Trainz. A zde je onen kámen úrazu. Pokud totiž místo zadaného helper-pointu není zadáno nic, nebo jakýkoli nesmysl, pak Trainz zvuk implicitně chápe jako tzv. 2D zvuk. Jinými slovy zvuk plošný. Pak odpadá význam parametrů volume, min a maxDistance. Trainz 2004 je prostě nerespektuje. U Trainz 2006 a výše je však situace.
